Hello Beautiful People!

Let me just start by saying, welcome! Thank you for taking the time out to just stop by and even beyond that, read a little about me, the writer. My name is Courtney and I decided to start a blog!

 

Let me start by explaining how I got here and why...

​

Momentanément is French for momentarily. I chose this one, not because I speak French, but because I love the language and I hope to learn it one day. Two momentarily didn't look as cute when I put it on the top of the page, but it captured how I felt my life journey came to be where it is today and every day.

 

My life, our lives, is truly made up of a moment of moments that give us all unique experiences. No two are the same. Every day we walk through life making choices that ultimately decide what the next moment will be, the next day will be, the next week, month...you get it. But these very, what seemingly feel like small moments, make up an incredibly grand journey. Through these unique moments, we grow through them having a new understanding, whether we win or seemingly fail. When we reflect on these moments we are able to, at times, see the significance or even insignificance of that moment in the grand scheme of things. I do a lot of this, reflecting, and have found that everything I have learned and am taking into the next season of my life isn't always as unique to only my journey as I might have thought. Yes, my journey is like no other but many of the moments that make up my experience, someone can relate to, and possibly even learn from.

I am definitely the type of person that learns best from doing, whether I learn something helpful or hurtful. But I am so grateful that I have caught on to the idea that I am able to learn from others as well. Not only choices that may not have been the best decisions, but those that have led me to great success. When we share through community we are able to use these shared and even different experiences, to grow. 

 

Everyone, at this point in time, has had some experience with the most recent pandemic, myself included. It has impacted everyone's life, each in a unique way. In my life, I have seen the significance of shared experiences and the many ways to create community, and the comfort of finding one. To know that there is someone out there that understands what I am going through, can inspire me in the areas that I am passionate about, and also find people that seem to share, what some might feel is a slight obsession with organizing and cleaning, and my newest, plants! Knowing they are there and understand, I have come to appreciate it greatly. My goal is to do the same for others; using this platform to share what I learn and hopefully encourage others to do the same.

So to actually mention something a bit more direct about myself after rambling on...I am someone learning through life just like everyone else in hopes of creating a loving community, willing to share and support each other through life, one moment at a time.
